Adventures and... Something Magical

The tall one participated in what they call and "Adventure Race" a couple months ago. He had to run, canoe, and bike all around Castlewood Park and the surrounding area. He claims that he had a good time, but I don't see how he could have since I wasn't there...

Below is a picture of him riding with his partner in the "Race". I see he has replaced me, as I would normally be lagging about 10-20 feet behind him with my tongue hanging on the ground...

Back on the home front, there's a magical device that's appeared in the pterodactyl's room. It's amazing... instead of making him go outside to do his business, they let him go right there while holding him. I remember trying this as a young pup, but I was immediately scolded and sent outside to the cold, harsh yard to get it done. Once he's done, I always hang around for the changing of the smelly thing into which he poos. It's awesome, they wrap it up into a little ball and put it the device pictured below and it eats them. My super-sensitive dog ears hear a little fan pop on and I detect the sweet scent of carbon filtered poo emanating from it's bowels. The owners marvel at how they can't smell any foul thing coming from it, but their human noses are weak... just like their minds.

Sleepless Nights

The new owner may be small, but he's keeping me up at night and that's just not cool. When I was a pup, they never responded to me quite like they do to the little one. As soon as he cries, the short one immediately wakes up and heads to his room. I've had to watch where I sleep at night for fear of getting trampled.

I've managed to play the pity card a few times here and there and I've noticed that I'm getting more treats from the tall one. Hmm...maybe the little one isn't so bad after all. I mean, I can sleep when they're not at home...right?

2008 Starts with a New Owner

There's a new owner in the house, he's extremely small, hungry (he gets to eat about eight times a day), and he sleeps a lot. He likes to make these little squeaky and gurgle noises, and the big owners seem to be totally infatuated with him. When he makes noise at night, they run to his aid, but with me, I can moan and groan for hours and they just snooze...

This picture is an excellent representation of my new status in this pack, but I'm cool with it because I seem to still be getting lots of attention and treats. Now if I could just get them to let me take them out for some walks every now and then.
